To promote mental well-being and physical development, Mentor Wise offers a variety of sports activities for both mentees and mentors. Thanks to our funders, our beneficiaries from all over the UK have had the opportunity to take part in basketball, swimming, table tennis, tennis, and volleyball. Additionally, our staff organises football matches and tournaments.
These sports activities take place at least once a fortnight, providing not only physical and mental health benefits but also valuable skill-building opportunities. They help beneficiaries develop teamwork, discipline, and resilience while fostering a positive social environment.
Team-based sports such as football, basketball, and volleyball are important for teamwork and communication. More than just exercise, these activities give young people the chance to spend quality time with friends, strengthen relationships, and build a sense of community.
